Art & Copy

5 things I learned from the film:

- 7 million dollars is spent on ads per year.
- 2.7 billion dollars was spent on a super bowl ad
- "Just Do It" is a very popular saying for Nike
- advertising companies help get their name out
- advertising helps companies gain money

2. The advertisements helped get Tommy Hilfiger's name popular.

3.  2.7 billion dollars was spent on a 30 sec. ad for the super bowl. I think this much money was spent on the super bowl so it looks presentable and eye catching.

4.  Advertising is like art because its colorful, takes time to do, and eye catching. Advertising is like pollution because it is all over the world.

5.  The slogan "Just Do it" impacted nike to where it made Nike one of the top selling shoe stores and also helped people get out of bad relationships

The book Night is a winner of the Noble Peace Prize and is very interesting. The story is about 14yr. old Eliezer Wiesel  living in Sighet, Transylvania, at the start of the World War II. The Jews had to leave their homes to go to concentration camps. Eliezer's family was one of the last people to leave in the cattle cars. Once they got to Auswitch their families were seperated, the girls were on one side and the men were on the other. If you were a girl or too young you were sent to the gas Chamber.  One of the jews had told Elie to say he was 18 and his father to say 40 because he was too young and his father was 50 which was too old. Eie's mother and little sister was sent to the gas chamber and died. Their days and Nights were tough and long.
